It’s highly advised to use it for a minimum of a 3 month period daily in order for there to be full benefits. This can also be taken without food, but they advise using it alongside a meal to help improve the benefits and to ease digestion. They recommend using 2 capsules in the morning time and another 2 either in the afternoon or evening.

They do admit because of the added shellfish that those with allergies should not take it.

You don’t have to continue taking it forever, but they suggest using it in order to maximize the long-term effects.

The return policy depends on the bottles purchased. If only one bottle is bought then they offer a 30 day money back return from the date of delivery. Bottles must be retuned and there is a $12 restocking fee.

They also offer a controversial auto-shipment plant which every 30 or 90 days will automatically send product that is deducted from the customer’s credit card. Consumers must call to cancel otherwise they will continue to charge without due notice.

A total of 11 customers complained and 6 had negative reviews about the company on the Better Business Bureau page. The main issue was that the company was called out for not honoring their money back return policy. Many were also continuously charged even after they called to cancel. Some also said that the customer service people would try and stop consumers from requesting their refund even after explaining they didn’t want to continue with the Arthri-D.

What’s inside of it and are there side effects?

They have a propriety blend of 960 mg contain a total of 12 ingredients. Also provided is 10% of the daily value of magnesium, 250% of vitamin D, and 10% of vitamin C. This includes the following inside of a proprietary blend:

Yucca (root): A root vegetable considered a staple food in many parts of the world. This has been historically used as a way to help treat arthritic symptoms by the Native Americans. This has a high amount of carbohydrates, fiber, and trace minerals.

This may cause side effects that Web MD has stated can be:

• Vomiting, nausea, and upset stomach.

Bromelain: An anti-inflammatory digestive enzyme that is found in pineapple. This is often added to supplements like this in order to help reduce swelling and inflammation.

It is possible for their to be side effects which Web MD has stated can range from:

• Diarrhea, stomach pain, and indigestion.

Evening Primrose Oil: A fatty acid rich plant this is found in different parts of the world. This is typically used to help treat female centered conditions such as PMS. The fatty acids in this may also help reduce inflammation.

NAG: A form of Glucosamine which is taken from glucose and acetic acid. This is often mixed to help improve joint tissue and to treat arthritis conditions. You’ll often find this extracted directly from shellfish, which is the case for this brand.

Ashwagandha: A stress relieving herbal ingredient that has a long history of use within the Indian Ayurvedic community. This is used for general wellness and it may lead to a decrease in inflammation. Some side effects are possible in high amounts however which can include:

• Indigestion, nausea, and stomach cramps.

Perna Carnaliculus: Known as Green Lipped Mussel from New Zealand, this is used as an alternative to fish oil. It also has fatty acids in it which can help reduce inflammation and treat arthritic conditions.

There are some side effects however which may appear including:

• Nausea, gas, and liver related issues.

When taking any seafood extract it’s important to ensure that it does not come from contaminated waters which contain heavy metals. This can raise the risk for serious developmental harm.

Rice Flour: An easy to digest and often tolerable filler ingredient which can help maintain the free flowing of other ingredients. It’s unknown why this is included within the propriety blend instead of being added to the inactive ingredient list.

What’s good about Arthri-D?

Some anti-inflammatory aids are used in this which provides healthy fatty acids. The added green lipped mussel for example has both DHA and EPA, though it’s unknown how much. This is an effective anti-inflammatory which can reduce the damage caused by inflammation.

You also get Chondroitin Sulfate which is a standard ingredient used in joint health supplements for its ability to provide support.

The added Evening Primrose Oil also shares the same potential benefits since it is rich in fatty acids.

What’s bad about Arthri-D?

The high cost of $109 is much higher than any other joint health supplement. This is only for a 30 day supply, making it one of the highest priced brands. When you consider the fact that 12 ingredients are blended into a 960 mg blend and it’s unknown how many fatty acids are used, there’s no way to know if there is any rich value in the EPA and DHA.

You also have to guess whether or not is sufficient added enough to provide lasting relief, and they recommend taking it for a long 3 month period. You’re going to have to spend over $300 in order to experience the maximum intended benefits.

They add a filler ingredient into their proprietary blend at an unknown amount, this further reduces the effectiveness of the active ingredients since it may mean that the actually useful additives are only included in a low amount.

Another major problem is the amount of negative reviews related to the lack of reputable business practices and the poor reviews of the formula itself.

What do consumers think about Arthri-D?

“no difference at all in m pain levels. I would not go about purchasing this again”

“I couldn’t continue to use it since it made me feel much worse. Felt sick and I recovered as soon as I stopped using it”

Conclusion

Due to the many poor reviews of the company policies and the Arthri-D itself, it just wasn’t good enough of a supplement to recommend. They make it with some not often used ingredients, but still much of this can be found online for way cheaper. The biggest concern consumers had going into it waste high price tag at $109. Many said it was simply not worth it and judging from what’s added, it’s clear there’s no way to justify the high price tag.

You also are advised to keep taking it daily for a total 3 month period. Customers said that the company was difficult to deal with since they both automatically charged consumers, and they did not want to honor their return policy according to many. This caused many to leave negative feedback on their Better Business Bureau page and they were accused of being shady because of it.
For joint health benefits we recommend a cheaper alternative which was greatly reviewed by consumers and which we saw as the number 1 supplement for joint function. Flexitrinol was a clear winner because of the ease of use and highly regarded formula. Find out more about Flexitrinol by visiting this link here were we give it a full review.
